This plant likes its soil to be consistently moist, but not wet. This means no soggy soil, but also don't let it dry out. If you touch the soil and water comes out, theres still a lot of moisture in the soil and you should not water anymore. Wait until the top layer of soil is almost dry to water again. Be sure to check the soil consistently and water as needed. *when you do actually water, please water thoroughly. Run a water source over the soil for a good 5-10 minutes with stops in between if the water overflows. (it is okay to give more amounts of water when you are sure that the soil is dry).
