Small Norfolk Pine
Norfolk pines are not actually pines! They are, in fact, a part of the Monkey Puzzle Tree family. They are often grown in subtropical climates in North America but can be found indoors all over the world. They prefer full sun whenever possible, but these plants can handle relatively long periods in less-bright conditions. So, if you're keeping your Norfolk pine indoors during the winter, you can move it to a sunny spot inside or outside during the summer!
Even though they are relatively drought-resistant plants, you'll still want to water your Norfolk Pine whenever the top 2-3" of soil is dry. Add water slowly and thoroughly until you see liquid draining from the bottom of the pot. We also recommend misting the plant often, as the needles like to soak in moisture from the air.
