Description
Commonly known as the Philodendron 'White Wave', this rare, fast-growing plant is native to the Brazilian rainforests. With its stunning deep green and white variegated, taco shell-shaped leaves, the Birkin will bring an air of elegance to your space!
Being that it's from a tropical environment, it thrives in moderate to high humidity, warm temperatures, moderately moist, well-draining soil, medium to indirect bright light and will grow up to 1.5 to 3 ft. tall indoors. This makes them great to place on a desktop, bookcase, cubby or small nook in your home that is well-lit, but doesn't get direct light. Over time this plant may lose some leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle. If you see that it is losing variegation, give it some more light!
