Commonly known as the Bar-Room Plant, Cast Iron Plants plants, native to temperate rainforest regions in China and Japan, are known to be SUPER hard to kill! Hence, the reference to iron. They are really strong, tough plants that can withstand almost no light and prefer to be neglected when it comes to watering. They have deep green leaves that start off slender at the base, and taper into a much wider leaf at the top. Sometimes, if it gets enough light, you'll see a light green streak here and there! It's a beautiful, modern looking plant, perfect for people with a "brown" thumb!
