Frequency is key to watering. This plant needs to be watered ONLY when the first 2-3 inches of the soil is dry, and that usually takes about 2 weeks to happen in an indoor environment. To confirm if the soil is dry, stick your finger in the first 2 inches of the soil to feel if the soil is dry. If it is dry then water, if it's not then don't water. *when you do actually water, please water thoroughly. Run a water source over the soil for a good 5-10 minutes with stops in between if the water overflows. (it is okay to give more amounts of water when you are sure that the soil is dry).
