The Alocasia Polly is a hybrid and can grow about two and a half feet tall and wide when at its medium size. The plant is a hybrid of the Alocasia longiloba and Alocasia sanderiana and is commonly incorrectly referred to as the Alocasia x amazonica. The plant has brown stems and deep green leaves highlighted by thick white veins that go through the middle and around the leaves in a winding fashion.

Shields, Arrows, and Elephant Ears

The leaf’s striking Sacramento hues, lime accents, and deep, purple undertones paired together with the long, pointed, wavy shape give them the appearance of an arrowhead or shield.
