Probably one of the most common and well-known houseplants, the Aloe Vera Plant is a succulent that is also known by its botanical name, Aloe Barbadensis Miller, and is native to arid climates in Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, and Madagascar, where it naturally grows on slopes. With its long, pointy, vibrant green leaves that grow in a rosette from its center, and have protective spikes on its sides, the Aloe Vera plant is sure to bring a tropical jurassic feel to your space! Doesn't it remind you of a dinosaur?
Being that it's from arid environments, it thrives in low humidity, warm temperatures, drier soil, indirect bright lightand will grow up to 1 to 2 ft. tall indoors. This makes them great to place in a sunny spot in your space! Over time this plant may lose some of its leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle.
