The Calathea Leopardina is native to tropical rainforests in South America. The leaves are broad, with bright and dark green contrasting streaks. The Calathea Leopardina is sure to just POP in your space! Like other Calatheas, the Leopardina will fold up its leaves at night, and then "bloom" open to greet the sunshine, giving it the nickname “prayer plant.”
CALATHEA LEOPARDINA CARE
LIGHT
Calathea Leopardina can handle low light, but increased light can help maintain the patterns on the foliage. Place the plant near a bright window, but not in the way of the direct sunlight. If you see brown spots or crispy edges to the leaves, move it to a place with less light.
WATER
These plants like moist soil, so water when you feel that the top inch or so of the soil is dry. They love humidity, so if you do not have a humidifier, you can put pebbles in a tray and place the pot on top. Any excess water in the soil will drain into the tray and keep the roots humid without adding too much moisture to the soil.
GROWTH HABITS
Depending on the size of the pot, the Leopardina can grow to be 1-3 feet tall. Propagation can be done through root division or by separating new shoots from the original pot.

HUGE, Fully Grown, Beautiful Plants. Without The HUGE Price Tag
Lots of online plant shops that offers "big plants" cut corners and end up delivering medium-sized plants, squished into boxes that are too small.
At Pafe, we pride ourselves on delivering fully grown plants–literally 7-10 feet tall and up to 6 feet wide. They're packaged with plenty of space, so they don’t get damaged.
That’s why our pricing reflects the true value of what you’re getting—unlike competitors who leave you with underwhelming, undersized plants.
Still unsure? Book a call for a personal, live, virtual tour of our greenhouse, and see the stunning giants for yourself!
