Balanced fertilizer are fertilizers with the same NPK in the NPK ratio, such as 10-10-10. *our plant arrives with slow release fertilizer so you should wait until the next feeding season to fertilize with new fertilizer. Or you risk chemical-burning your plant.
Water thoroughly every 10 to 14 days
Frequency is key to watering. This plant needs to be watered ONLY when the first 2 inches of the soil is dry, and that usually takes 10-14 days to happen in an indoor environment. To confirm if the soil is dry, stick your finger in the first 2 inches of the soil to feel if the soil is dry. If it is dry then water, if it's not then don't water. *when you do actually water, please water thoroughly. Run a water source over the soil for a good 5-10 minutes with stops in between if the water overflows. (it is okay to give more amounts of water when you are sure that the soil is dry).
