Check Your Delivery Options?

Also known as the Calathea Makoyana, this Brazilian beauty thrives in humid temperatures, much like the balmy temps you can find in many regions of South America. Our customers nationwide love the contrasting leaf colors and patterns that vary slightly with each peacock plant, but we’ve recently extended delivery options nationwide! People love the quality of plants they receive from us, especially with the protective packaging available.  Additionally, this beauty does require detailed care in order to thrive, so it’s probably not a good idea for your beginner plant friends.

Peacock Plant Benefits

Besides how cool it’ll look in your home, the peacock plant also has a few cool benefits. One thing is that this plant can remove harmful toxins from the air around it. This not only helps with a cleaner environment, but it reduces stagnancy in the air too.

Feathery Leaves

Much like the name suggests, the peacock plant is full of bright, multi-colored leaves with unique markings that give it the colorful peacock feather vibes everyone knows and loves. The markings start off dark hunter green in the middle, with thin lines that move toward the outer ege of the leaf, giving it that feathery effect. Besides that, the plant has many vivid colors that enrich its palette. While the top of the leaf has lime and forest green markings, the underside has rich shades of purple and maroon with maroon stems. These warm colors can range from pinks, reds, creams, and browns of all shades.

Night Owl

This beauty is also a part of the prayer plant crew. More specifically, it’s a member of the Marantaceae family. When the sun goes down, its oval leaves will fold up. Once the sun rises again, the leaves will go back down.

It Needs Love

This is one of our higher maintenance plants, but for how gorgeous it is, totally worth it. It has a high transpiration rate, meaning it absorbs and holds water at a higher level. Make sure you let the dirt dry out completely before re-watering to avoid root rot. To help with this, you could put some pebbles at the bottom of your pot to encourage the draining process. It also does best in filtered light with warmer temps of 55 degrees and higher.

HUGE, Fully Grown, Beautiful Plants. Without The HUGE Price Tag

Lots of online plant shops that offers "big plants" cut corners and end up delivering medium-sized plants, squished into boxes that are too small.

At Pafe, we pride ourselves on delivering fully grown plants–literally 7-10 feet tall and up to 6 feet wide. They're packaged with plenty of space, so they don’t get damaged.

That’s why our pricing reflects the true value of what you’re getting—unlike competitors who leave you with underwhelming, undersized plants.

Still unsure? Book a call for a personal, live, virtual tour of our greenhouse, and see the stunning giants for yourself!
